There are opportunities to volunteer at
Quaker Cottage either short-term (mid July
to end of August) or long term – minimum
of 11/12 months. In both cases you will
be working with groups of children and young
people and must have some experience of
this work and be interested in it. You must
also speak English fluently. You will have
accommodation provided for you and receive
a small allowance for food etc.
Long term
You must be at least 21 years of age, preferably
hold a driving licence and be willing to
learn to drive a minibus. Vacancies arise
at various points in the year but mainly
June and September.
Short term
You must be at least 17 years of age and
preferably be available for a full 6/7 week
period from mid July to end of August, but
shorter stays may be considered.
